BUNGALOW WITH VAULTS
A bungalow forming a connection between home and living, rises in the form of ferrocement vaults. The design evolved by placing the spaces to take in the natural light, moon light and fresh breezes. Creating double height spaces and allowing look throughs helped for visual connections.
A pond at the entrance above which stands the puja space with a facade of glass bricks. The sliding folding doors on both sides of living room when opened, connects with the lawn and gives a sense of larger area for small gatherings.
A tv unit cum bookshelf separates the study from living room which also acts as a buffer for parents room. A skylight above the dining room has a grill designed by the inspiration of Agna Chakra, creates intresting shadow patterns throughout the day. One can enjoy sky gazing from the master bedroom and mezzanine floor room.
This Bungalow with Vaults provides an ample, free and living space for a family of five to happily live, play, laugh, stroll, plant!
